HSS305118 Provision of Support and Maintenance Services for Hitachi Products

Health Support Services (HSS) is seeking to consolidate existing support and maintenance services for Hitachi hardware and associated software and build in capacity to increase or decrease services as required.

The requirement for support and maintenance services, combined with the ability to add and delete hardware support and maintenance as required is important to HSS. The added flexibility will improve the ongoing support of HSS managed Hitachi hardware and software currently being used at the following sites:

• Fujitsu Data Centre Malaga (DCM);
• Fujitsu Data Centre 1 located on Murray Street (Fujitsu DC1);
• Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH); and
• Fiona Stanley Hospital.

As part of this Request in order to ensure HSS’s ongoing data storage requirements are met, HSS may procure additional hardware products compatible with existing Hitachi hardware equipment and associated software on an as required basis over the proposed contract term. The support and maintenance for any additional equipment purchased will commence following the expiration of its initial warranty.
