Project Manager (Risk and Performance, Asset Management, Integration Projects)

The Engineering & Technology (E&T) Branch of Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) is seeking specialist contractors (the ‘Contractor’) with project management experience and expertise for strategic asset management, investment program development and business system enhancement and implementation related projects to:

• Support and / or manage delivery of multiple and interdependent projects, sub-projects and work activities related to:
- the development and delivery of frameworks and business systems associated with structures management, including asset and access management; and
- the development and delivery of frameworks, investment planning and prioritisation of structural renewal initiatives
• Prepare project documentation and reporting relevant to project delivery within DTMR

Work Objectives
The objectives of this engagement are to:
• Ensure successful delivery of current high priority and high-risk initiatives within E&T through appropriate and effective project management, governance, key stakeholder and risk management;
• Ensure that projects with high organisational risk demonstrate well established project and technical governance frameworks; and
• Support internal capability development

Specifically, the objective of this commission is to engage the services of project management professionals. The engagement is a requirement to support a range of E&T projects focused on:
• The capture and integration of outcomes and learnings from recently completed DTMR projects;
• Project proposals for future investment;
• Management plans for a suite of structural assets identified as requiring the enhanced or targeted management strategies;
• Risk management practice and control measures for structural assets;
• Integration, communication and presentation of performance and capability related information and data; and
• Asset management and operation practices and process within established DTMR’s business.
