Radiology suite of tenders

It is the function of Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) to establish, manage and deliver high quality public sector health services. To fulfil this function, MNHHS requires quality, accessible Medical Imaging services which are provided in a cost effective and timely manner.

MNHHS is undertaking a strategic sourcing exercise to select a suitably qualified Medical Imaging service provider for each of the three (3) Medical Imaging contracts. It is anticipated that the outcome of this procurement process will lead to a best value for money outcome for provision of quality Medical Imaging services on a sustainable basis.

Invitation to Offer documents

Following the Industry Briefing which was held on the 25th September 2015, this Invitation to Offer is one of the suite of three as listed below that is planned to be released via QTenders. Each of the three contracts is to be awarded for a period of three years with the option to extend for two one-year periods.

The Invitations to Offer will cover the following radiology services:

  • MNHHS72242A: For the provision of Medical Imaging and Nuclear Medicine services for Metro North Hospital and Health Service at Caboolture Hospital.
  • MNHHS72242B: For the provision of Medical Imaging Reporting Service and On-site Radiologist for Metro North Hospital and Health Service at Redcliffe Hospital.
  • MNHHS72242C: For the provision of Overflow Reporting for Metro North Hospital and Health Service.

Providers are encouraged to read the Invitations to Offer and then, based upon their proven capability and experience, decide whether to apply. There is an opportunity to attend site visits at both Caboolture and Redcliffe Hospitals - details of which can be found in section 1 to 4 of the respective ITO documents.

Questions after Invitations to Offer are released

To ensure that probity is maintained throughout the process, please ensure that all questions are sent to the Radiology tender mailbox which is ‘[email hidden]’.

Responses to all questions will be issued as addenda through QTenders to all that have downloaded the ITO documents.

Each Invitation to Offer document will include the question cut-off date, after which no more questions will be answered.
