The Queensland Government is seeking proposals for the provision of an online wellbeing education and training program for junior doctors.

The online program is to be specifically tailored to junior doctors (postgraduate years one to five) working within Queensland Health facilities and reflect the unique workplace stressors and pressures facing this cohort of doctos.

The online program should take a holistic approach to wellbeing and include modules relating to:

  • Managing workload
  • Self-care including managing stress
  • Practical strategies for supporting self-care and effective work practices
  • Career development and professional wellbeing
  • Wellbeing for junior doctors in the hospital environment
  • Wellbeing during the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Wellbeing training for supervisors
