Surgery Connect - Project QuEST - ITO
Details
Description
The Surgery Connect Program, initiated by the Queensland Department of Health, is a patient-centred program which coordinates and contracts with the private sector to deliver elective surgical services for patients where there is insufficient capacity to provide treatment within clinically recommended timeframes within Queensland public hospitals.
Current contracts in the SC program expire on 31 October 2017, therefore a procurement requirement exists to go to market and establish new contracts. This procurement exercise will be known as ‘Project QuEST (Queensland Elective Surgery Tender)’.
Project QuEST seeks potential service providers with an ability to demonstrate value for money, robust governance frameworks and to deliver outcomes from both a clinical and commercial perspective to Queensland Health.
The Queensland Department of Health have now decided to undertake an open Invitiation to Offer (ITO) process to formally request offers from the marketplace for the provision of Surgery Connect Services.
In order to provide the market with an understanding of the background, objectives and opportunities of this procurement exercise, an industry briefing session will be held in the Auditorium at 111 George St, Brisbane on 21 July 2017 at 1pm.
If you wish to register for the event, please provide details of proposed attendees to [email hidden]. Attendance is highly recommended however is not mandatory in order to submit a response to the tender.
