Overview

Liontown is an emerging tier 1 battery minerals producer whose purpose is to find, develop and supply battery minerals to the electric vehicle and energy storage industries. Liontown are currently developing the Kathleen Valley Lithium mine (Kathleen Valley) which will include the construction and operation of a fully integrated, low-carbon mine in Western Australia. Kathleen Valley is located in the north-eastern Goldfields region, approximately 680km northeast of Perth and 60km north of the mining town, Leinster.

The primary focus of Kathleen Valley will be the extraction of lithium with a secondary focus on tantalum. The Project operating phase has an expected mine life of over 20 years. Kathleen Valley remains on target to commence first production of concentrate by mid-2024.
