Beerwah State School - Library & GLA refurbishment

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Library & GLA
Refurbishment at Beerwah SS, located at 2788 Old Gympie Road, Beerwah QLD 4519, as part of the School Infrastructure
Enhancement (SIE) program.

The project includes the refurbishment of 5 classrooms. Works comprise of new carpet and vinyl flooring, new joinery and
teaching walls, new walls and pinable wall coverings and an internal paint.. The position of the building is in the centre of the
school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by January 2024.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
