Perth City Station Public Toilets

At PTA’s Perth Station, there is currently 2 x unisex toilets and 1 x UAT unisex toilet for paying customers to utilise. These facilities are the only passenger amenities present within the station precinct, including Perth Underground Station. Based on the high volume of passengers daily and especially during large events, the current facilities are unable to provide sufficient amenity. Available space to expand the public toilet facilities has always been an issue, but with the recent vacating of Australia Post on the ground floor of the heritage building, it has presented an opportunity for PTA to construct a permanent solution with an appropriate number of facilities made available to PTA customers. The PTA seeks the provision of goods, services and works, including (but not limited to): i. To take occupancy of site by erecting hoarding and commence fit-out requirements to complete Station Public Toilets. ii. Develop works plan with all activities individually listed with Gantt chart / Schedule provided, for PTA approval. iii. Construct new facilities in accordance with provided design (Perth City Station - New Toilets and UAT Facilities REV17, Perth City Station - Fit Out Schedule REV4, Perth City Station - Signage Schedule).***EXCLUDING THE FOLLOWING***; - Procurement and install of items;FX-2.3, FX-2.4, FX-3.1, FX-3.2, FX-3.3, FX-3.4, FX-3.5, FX- 3.6, FX-3.8, FX-3.9, FX-3.10, FX-3.12 of “Fit Out Schedule REV4” - Procurement and install of item; S-06 of “Signage Schedule” - All electrical works. - All fire services works. - All extraction system works. iv. Completion of Building Occupancy and associated permits. v. Provide communication updates to key stakeholders throughout build. vi. Provide project management services, a heritage architect and engineers for review and signoff to assist with Entry Into Service. vii. Updated drawings provided in Auto CAD format and as per PTA drawing specifications.
