Description
Contractors are invited to submit a registration of interest for the widening of approximately 2.5 kilometres of the northbound carriageway of the Gateway Motorway from two to three lanes between the Sandgate Road on-ramp and Barrett Street, Bracken Ridge.
Both the existing road bridges over Cabbage Tree Creek (northbound and southbound) will be replaced. The existing northbound bridge over Depot Road will be widened and a new bridge provided to accommodate the off-ramp. The project also includes ITS including components for Managed Motorways (ramp metering).
This is a Federally Funded National Highway project.
