Ipswich Special School Block A Outdoor Learning Area (with Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a new outdoor learning area to Block A at Ipswich Special School, located at 2a Milford St, Ipswich, Qld, AU, 4305, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The scope of works includes, but is not limited to, new decking, new lighting, and perforated screens. The position of the building is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by January 2022.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
