Air Conditioning Replacement at Dawson House

West Moreton Hospital and Health service are seeking Proposals from a suitably qualified Contractor for WMHHS112458 Air Conditioning Replacement, Dawson House.

It includes the removal and replacement of ceiling mounted units in Dawson House, located at The Park Centre for Mental Health (Wacol QLD 4076).

These goods/services specifically include the Contractor/s to:

• Confirm sizing of existing unit is appropriate and integrity of existing installation, report prior to undertaking modifications.

• Ensure new units are appropriate for reliable operation in 36degC dry bulb and 26.5degC wet-bulb ambient temperatures.
• Upgrade or validate the existing condenser water reticulation to the capacity to deliver 23degC throughout the building at the ambient temperatures nominated above.
• Electrically isolate the existing unit/s.
• Reclaim and dispose of refrigerant as required.
• Remove existing units and dispose of them in an appropriate manner as required.
• Crane hire roof removal and replacement for all units (6 of) in the level 3 roof cavity shall be included in your tender.
• Install new indoor units.
• Supply and install all necessary pipework/duct modifications and wiring as required.
• Supply and install all 240/415V supply cabling and isolators for new units as required
• Supply and install mounting brackets and platforms as required to accommodate and maintain the units.
• Pressurise, leak test and triple evacuate the system/s.
• Test run units and trim refrigerant charge.
• Reconfigure wiring and ensure fire alarm shutdown is operational.
• All wiring and controls to match the configuration of existing units.
• Update BMS controls & Graphics to native BACnet interoperable Siemens or Schneider equipment and commission.
• Fully commission units as per TS 5342:2021
• Provide new filters for all units.
• To complete air balance of system ensuring even supply air temperature to all rooms, 23degrees +or – 1 deg
• Update existing drawings to reflect any changes.
• Provide new traffolyte labels to match existing and reflect unit numbers on drawings.
• Upgrade all flexible ducting with new R2 rated flexible ducting
• Prepare surfaces and apply an anti-microbial coating to all internal ducting (supply & return), cushion headboxes, and dampers.
• Apply Aeris-Guard surface treatment to all supply & return air grilles & boxes.
