Description
The Queensland Government acting through the Department of Environment and Science is seeking quotations from suitably qualified Contractors to complete construction works for five (5) new mountain bike trails, one (1) new walking trail and maintenance of one (1) existing mountain bike trail in accordance with the project brief and specification.
The construction works will be carried out by the end of the 2022 calendar year, and will include:
- construction of five (5) new mountain bike trails (a total length of 5.4 km),
- construction of one (1) new 600m walking trail, and
- maintenance of one (1) 500m existing mountain bike trail
All track works are to be completed in line with the International Mountain Bike Association Standards and/or the Australian Standards AS 2156.1 2001 Walking Tracks, Part 1: Classification and Signage and AS 2156.2 2001 Walking Tracks, Part 2: Infrastructure Design.
