Description
The agriculture and food ‘Agrifoods’ sector is an important driver to the economy of Western Australia. The Western Australian Department of State Development (DSD) is wishing to develop a Brand and communication strategy to assist Western Australia develop a stronger presence in the international market place. The initial primary function of this brand is to assist the Western Australian agrifoods industry to grow its market share in key Asian export markets together with attracting investment into the Western Australian agricultural and food production, processing and/or export industries.
The Department of State Development seeks to engage a Brand consultant to develop a brand and communication strategy which will:
• position Western Australian agriculture at the premium end of the Asian food market in consumer and investor perceptions;
• increase the sector’s competitiveness;
• increase both export and domestic demand; and
• support expanded overseas investment into the sector.
This Request is for the engagement of an experienced consultancy to work with Government and the industry to develop a brand and a communication strategy for WA agrifoods working across multiple industry sectors, geographical regions and media.
