Description
The Request for Tender is for the provision of legal services to the Insurance Commission.
The provision of legal services is an essential requirement for the Insurance Commission to undertake its operations. The legal panel arrangement will provide legal services for all of the Insurance Commission’s insurance (CTP and RiskCover) and non-insurance needs. This includes obtaining insurance claims advice, negotiating settlement of claims, defending actions and court litigation. It also includes providing advice on non-claim related matters such as leasing and property matters, investment advice, contracting and tender development, intellectual property, and freedom of information requests.
The expected outcome of this procurement is for the Insurance Commission to obtain a panel of suitably qualified legal practitioners who are able to satisfy the Insurance Commission's requirements in the most cost effective manner and provide value for money legal services.
