Description
The Old Adelaide Gaol is a heritage listed building which was built in the early period of Adelaide’s settlement. The existing car park is in poor condition with numerous repairs done over many years. The car park surface is undulating with many potholes creating hazards for pedestrians and vehicles. Within the site there is no traffic management and poor directional signage.
The upgrade of the Old Adelaide Gaol car park will improve the amenity, lifecycle and safety of the existing car parking at the site. The proposed upgrade will also reduce future maintenance and assist with the preservation of the heritage site.
