Australian Government Department of Parliamentary Services
RFT DPS08063 - Internet Security Threat Mitigation Solution
Details
Description
The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) provides the Australian Parliament House with internet and email facilities, accessed through various standard operating environments. The use of these tools exposes users and systems to the risk of virus and malware infection, unsolicited emails and inappropriate or illegal Internet content. In order to mitigate these risks, DPS has used various systems to protect their systems and users, each chosen for specific purposes as the need has arisen.
To manage security risks to the Parliamentary Computing Network (PCN), DPS is seeking one or more product vendor(s) to supply one or more off-the-shelf solutions to update the current Internet Security Threat Mitigation (ISTM) solution with a newer, more applicable and easily managed enterprise ISTM solution to complement existing operational PCN security.
