Description
This study is in three stages:
- Development of options and technical and economic assessments.
- Consultation with the use of a Discussion Paper.
- Preparation of a Flood Management Master Plan.
The study will detail structural and non-structural flood mitigation measures, recommend appropriate development control and ownership requirements, and incorporate multi objective outcomes to enhance environmental, social and economic objectives.
The flood mitigation strategy must be founded on a whole of catchment approach and be supported by rigorous technical, social and economic analysis.
