Description
The Tasmanian Government requests tenders for the supply, installation and testing of optical-fibre cable and associated works for the Broadband for Regional Centres (BRC) Project. The BRC Project is a component of the State's Telecommunications Infrastructure Project. The purpose of the BRC Project is to extend the Government's existing optical-fibre cable telecommunications infrastructure into the central business districts of Hobart, Launceston, Devonport and Burnie. The BRC Project is supported by the Coordinated Communications Infrastructure Fund (CCIF) administered by the Australian Government's Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts.
