ENGINEERING ADVICE ON NATURAL GAS DISTRIBUTION

The Department of Economic Development (DED) for the State of Tasmania is considering the appointment of a consultant to verify the achievement of milestones attached to the Stage 2A Development Agreement between the Tasmanian Government and Powerco and to provide other engineering advice as required relating to the natural gas project. The Stage 2A Development Agreement signed by the State and gas distributor Powerco for the construction of a gas distribution network requires the achievement of measurable milestones. These milestones are based on the number of residential and small business premises passed at various stages of the Stage 2A rollout. Contract 04/0275 is seeking to appoint the services of consultants able to verify that these milestones have been met and provide other engineering and technical advice as required.
