Dental Prosthetic Services

This Request is for the provision of dental prosthetic services to Dental Health Services (DHS), under the Western Australian Department of Health.

DHS is responsible for promoting and providing general and emergency dental health care state-wide. Treatment is provided by sites located within schools and public adult dental clinics which are located throughout Metropolitan and Regional areas of Western Australia (WA).

Prosthetic Dentistry is one of the services provided by DHS. The field of Prosthetic Dentistry is concerned with the rehabilitation of the oral cavity, using single crowns and fixed bridgework to partial and full dentures, as required.

The Head Agreement established as a result of this Request may be awarded in any of the following ways:

• a single supplier for all items in a category; or

• a panel of suppliers.

This arrangement for prosthetic services will be utilised by DHS staff in such instances where the clinic is unable to complete the services on-site. There will be no guarantee of work volumes or turnover under the contract.

The resultant Head Agreement will constitute a standing offer, whereby Customers and Potential Customers can place Orders on an ‘as required’ basis during the Term.
