Delivery of the market development program of the State Food Plan 2007-2010

Primary Industries and Resources SA(PIRSA)is a key economic development agency within the South Australian government.PIRSA is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the State Food Plan 2007-2010 which aims to increase the economic activity of the food industry in through key initiatives.

The Market Development Program is a key initiative to develop local, interstate and international markets by aligning ’s competitive advantages and capabilities to market requirements through a partnership approach with government and industry.

PIRSA is seeking innovative proposals tomanage all, or any part of:

1.The international market development program: a key program of the Market Development program designed to position and promote South Australian food companies in international markets through a number of initiatives.

2. The in-market commercial representative program to:work with the market to deliver sales of South Australian products and support commercial activities of export-ready South Australian food and beverage companies in markets identified by the Premier’s Food Council as having potential for further growth.

3.The interstate market development program: a key program under the Market Development Program designed to assist South Australian food companies increase their distribution throughout through a variety of initiatives.
