Description
North East Water is seeking a suitably qualified Principal Contractor to decommission redundant assets and reinstate the site at the former Wastewater Treatment Plant located in Howard Street, Wodonga.
This site contains;
- An estimated area of 10,000 square meters consisting of 5 drying lagoons. These lagoons contain biosolids and building debris which will be removed prior to the levelling of the lagoon banks.
- 2 shed areas approximately 29m x 8m (Enclosed Shed) and 40m x 6m (Open Carport Style) with concrete floors which require demolition.
- Removal of all Concrete and materials associated with the 20m x 10m Washdown bay.
- Concrete area 12m x 12m.
- Other minor Concrete structures as identified in the Specification; and
- Asbestos bonded pipes.
All Biosolids removed must be transported to the West Wodonga Wastewater Treatment Plant.
All Building debris must be removed from site and disposed of at a lawful place with consideration to recycling and disposal.
Concrete may be crushed and recycled for use in access road construction.
All Asbestos must be removed and disposed of in accordance with Health and Safety Legislation and EPA Victoria Regulations.
