THE DEVELOPMENT OF GUIDELINES FOR MANAGING CHALLENGING BEHAVIOURS ASSOCIATED WITH PSYCHOSTIMULANT USE

These would be primarily for use by general Alcohol and Other Drug workersrather than more specialist staff.

The project will also:

• identify existing resources covering similar ground for different settings;

• make recommendations about developing other information resources that might complement the guidelines and further assist the targeted workers;

• focus test the guidelines; and

• develop a detailed dissemination and implementation strategy.

The process will require consultations with a representative sample of workers within the identified service types.
