Provision of Periodical Kitchen Canopy & Associated Cleaning Reference Number: WAI-ITS-CAN-08-24

William Angliss Institute is seeking competitive quotations for canopy cleaning services. Our budget estimate for 2024 is $30,000.00, with provisions for CPI increases of up to 10% over the forward estimates.

Historically, this service has been considered a niche market, and WAI has relied on a single supplier model for preventative maintenance and specialized cleaning. To align with the VGPB guidelines, we propose entering into a 4-year preventative maintenance agreement for this service.We are issuing an tender document to approach the market, ensuring better control over our expenditure while obtaining value for money and a service that is fit for purpose.

Service requirements :- The scope of service will be in accordance with the identified maintenance schedule and will be provided to suppliers as part of the ITS. This includes the cleaning of all exhaust canopies, grease filters, deep cleaning of ovens and fryers.

Key objectives: -The key objective of this approach to market is to ensure that all essential labour, materials, and equipment for the specified service is at competitive rates and value for money, together with improved service delivery, and invoice processes reducing the number of invoices that need to be approved.
