Description
The Barossa Regional Procurement Group consists of Adelaide Plains Council, The Barossa Council, Light Regional Council, Mid Murray Council and Town of Gawler. The Town of Gawler is not participating in this tender process.
The four (4) remaining Councils seek tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the Provision of Waste Management Services within their respective Council areas.
The term of the contract will be for a seven (7) year period commencing 1 July 2018 for The Barossa Coucnil and Light Regional Council and a commencement date of 1 February 2018 for Adelaide Plains Council and Mid Murray Council, with an option for one (1) extension of seven (7) years which may be executed at the sole discretion of the Councils.
A mandatory briefing session will be held on Monday 10 July 2017 at 9.30 am at The Barossa Council, 43-51 Tanunda Road, Nuriootpa. Tenderers are advised that attendance at the Tender Briefing is a mandatory requirement of a conforming tender.
