Description

Request For Tender

BWV solutions comprise two key components – the body-worn video devices (cameras), and a Digital Evidence Management System (DEMS), which is used to manage the captured video and other uploaded audio/visual content (e.g. CCTV, still images, audio recordings) for evidentiary purposes.

SAPOL’s preference will be to contract with a single supplier for the provision of a solution spanning the supply, configuration, deployment and support over a five year period of all equipment, hardware and software required for the end-to-end solution. Respondents are therefore encouraged to consider how they might collaborate with other market participants to achieve this.

However, the tender allows for the submission of offers for just the Hardware or Software components.

Up to 1,000 body-worn video devices are to be deployed, along with the DEMS software and associated services. The DEMS is to be hosted internally on SAPOL infrastructure. The chosen vendor may additionally be asked to provide up-front systems integration services.

Samples of Hardware and Software for testing purposes are a Mandatory requirement of this tender. Samples must be submitted by the Tender closing date and early submissions are encouraged.

A supplier briefing will be held at 1pm on Wednesday 6th April 2016 at Police Headquarters, 100 Angas Street, Adelaide SA 5000. (Samples will be accepted at this briefing) Not 6th March as is in the documents
