Request for Tender for the provision of Replacement of Core Network Infrastructure

By this Request for Tender (RFT) Geoscience Australia seeks to procure the following Goods from organisations as outlined in Part D (Statement of Requirement).
Geoscience Australia requires one pair of redundant 10Gb HP switches or equivalent
a) 5412-ZL (capability of 40 × RJ-45 10/100/1000 ports,
b) 8 × empty Mini-GBIC ports,
c) 8 × 10GbE CX4 ports and
d) 8 × 10GbE SR Optical ports; and
e) capacity for a further 24 × 10GbE SR Optical ports
4 pairs of local high speed switches clustered and distributed among the Server racks or equivalent
a) 3500yl-24g (capability of 24 × RJ-45 10/100/1000 ports,
b) 2 × 10GbE CX4 ports, and
c) 2 × 10GbE SR Optical ports)
