Description
The Electricity Supply Industry Planning Council (the Planning Council) is a Public Corporation established under the Electricity Act 1996 (SA). The Planning Council, having been operating for a little over 12 months, is now in a position to implement an information system to manage its data requirements with respect to the National Electricity Market. In preparation for such a task, the Planning Council in conjunction with its consultant Spherion, has prepared a data requirements/structure document that summarises the type of data system that it would like to establish to support the ongoing work of the Planning Council. We are now seeking proposals from interested parties to:
- Finalise a physical database design;
- Work with the Planning Council to identify and implement appropriate hardware and software platforms;
- Establish mechanisms to populate, update and back-up the database; and
- Identify front-end tools to enhance the usefulness of the underlying database
