Description of the goods and services to be provided

The Soil Conservation Service are looking to engage a single supplier with suitable building experience to install the components of a pre-cast concrete bridge supplied by Fulton Hogan Industries. The project is located in Booderee National Park, located approx. 5km south of Jervis Bay Village ACT 2540. This procurement will focus on the installation of previously supplied precast bridge components. The bridge works will commence as soon as practicable from August 2025. The Soil Conservation Service is aiming to complete the tender process, evaluation and award by mid-July 2025 to ensure works can commence early August and be completed by the end of August 2025. Short construction times frames are required based on impact to environment, surrounding residential areas and the nearby defence base as there are critical defence towers that are required to be regularly accessed. The Towers will be inaccessible while the bridge is under construct. This constraint is reflected in the weighted criteria.
