Background
The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) plans and prioritises its Transport Infrastructure Portfolio (TIP) into a 10 year view with the first 4 years currently comprising a total investment of $17.2 billion for works across local, state and national networks. The delivery of the TIP is managed through programs and projects with work often contracted out to industry partners. Over recent years, the department has undergone a number of significant changes which have contributed to an environment of fragmented business processes and numerous ICT systems in the TIP domain. Many of these systems have been developed in-house since the 1990s, are costly to maintain and are considered legacy in nature.

What are TMR looking for?
The 3PCM Project has been initiated and is seeking a suitable Implementation Partner with a solution to manage Portfolio, Program, Project and Contract Management activities within the TIP domain. The solution to be delivered by the Implementation Partner will include ICT system(s), supporting business processes and change management. TMR is looking for a long-term partnership with the successful Implementation Partner to source, design, implement and support the solution.
