Key Website Specialist to provide technical advice and support for ongoing maintenance and improvement of the FutureBeef website and associated Wordpress content management system.

Scope

To assist with the delivery of the FutureBeef Project 2023-2027, the Customer is seeking a Specialist Supplier to provide technical advice and support for the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the ‘FutureBeef website’ and associated Wordpress content management system.

Requirements

These website services are required to ensure the project objectives and targets are met and FutureBeef has an up-to-date website where Northern Australia beef producers can source practical and relevant information. These services support the Customer’s priority and strategy of “driving innovation and productivity through research, development and extension” by improving the uptake of innovative technologies and practices.

Specifics

To provide technical advice and support for the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the FutureBeef website and associated Wordpress content management system (CMS) up until 1 September 2027. Services to be provided include (but not limited to):

• Provision of advice to website managers in the use and operation of the Wordpress CMS.

• Assistance with any issues that arise with the website use and operation.

• Testing site speed and make recommendations for improvements

• Technical search engine optimisation

• Run screaming frog or similar program on a monthly basis to identify broken links and supply this list of broken links to the FutureBeef team for correction.

• Uninstall MailChimp and install Vision6 as the new e-newsletter program linked to the website
