Principal Consultants for Infrastructure Services

The Department of Education, Training and Employment (the Department) is seeking offers from organisations with suitably experienced and qualified Principal Consultants to perform and / or co-ordinate the delivery of architectural and engineering consultancy services to Queensland state-owned educational facilities under a Standing Offer Arrangement.
The Department commissions Principal Consultants across a range of disciplines for refurbishment projects, extensions and new building solutions at Queensland state-owned educational facilities. Principal Consultants in conjunction with sub-consultants play a significant role within the delivery of these projects. This is achieved through supplying professional services that allow the project to be successfully steered to their completion while complying with departmental standards. Significant importance is placed on developing and maintaining the condition and functionality of Queensland state-owned educational facilities. Equally the Department applies the same level of importance on projects being delivered within specified time frames, budgets, quality parameters and the facility’s specific requirements
The Department’s objective of the Invitation to Offer is to form a panel of suitably experienced and qualified Principal Consultants under a Standing Offer Arrangement that can co-ordinate specialised consultancy services to drive the delivery of the Department’s programs. The Department is additionally eager to maximise cost efficiencies derived from the arrangement through the performance of Principal Consultancy teams to ensure that program funds are used as effectively and efficiently as possible and represent value for money.
