Berth 4 Cargo Terminal Construction

Port of Townsville Limited is seeking tender submissions for the construction of a cargo terminal at Berth 4 located at the Port of Townsville.

Together with seperate projects, including the recently completed Berth 4 upgrade and the ongoing procurement and installation of a ship to shore crane, Port of Townsville Limited aims to create a cargo handling facility at Berth 4 to facilitate growth in containerised and general cargo at the Port of Townsville.

Construction of the Berth 4 Cargo Terminal includes construction of pavements, lighting, fencing, washbay, amenities, gatehouse, utilities and car parking over a site of approximately 1.8 hectares. A level crossing is also included in the construction works to allow
direct access to Berth 4 from the cargo terminal site.
