Upgrade and temporary works of the High Dependency Unit (HDU) within the Integrated Mental Health Unit located at Ipswich Hospital

West Moreton Hospital and Health Service (WMHHS) is seeking Tenders for the upgrade and temporary works of the High Dependency Unit (HDU) within the Integrated Menatl Health Unit, Ipswich Hospital.

The Works consists of:

• Construction of a temporary seclusion room with air lock.
• Demolish and build the specified HDU and office area.
• Commissioning of the HDU area so that it is ready for occupancy by staff and patients.
• Return the temporary seclusion room back to an office.
• Systems and products integration to the WMHHS exiting systems/products.
• This project will be turnkey and a fully operational area at handover.

Tenderers with PQC Level 2 or higher (or those able to acquire PQC Level 2 within 2 months of request for tender issue date) are invited to submit a tender for the Works.The Tenderer, as part of its submission must provide evidence of its PQC qualification.

WMHHS has scheduled a mandatory pre-tender meeting at Ipswich Hospital Main Entrance Chelmsford Avenue (Level 6 Ward Block) commencing at 11.00am on Wednesday 13 July. 2016. Tenderers are requested to nominate who will be attending (a maximum of two participants per Tenderer) to the WMHHS Contact listed in Item 5 Part A of the Request for Tender document by 2.00pm on Tuesday 12 July2016. No other meetings will be arranged.
