Description
The PTA intends to enable signalled turnback movement functionality at existing Bassendean turnback to minimise the impact of disruptive events on scheduled train operations and improve operational flexibility during partial line closures on outer Midland line in the long term. The works will include electrification of the existing unwired crossover between points 763A and 763B. This will require decommissioning of an existing isolator, 2x booster transformers, and commissioning of 2x new motorised isolators. The project engineering and construction works interface with signalling, overhead, communications, operational technology, and track disciplines. The Scope of Services is separated into three design packages, Design Package 1 – Communications DesignDesign Package 2 – Low Voltage DesignDesign Package 3 – Undertrack crossing for conduits/ cables
