Goulburn-Murray Water is seeking a Principal Contractor for works at the Kerang Depot, which will include:

• Securing a building permit for the staged demolition of existing sheds and a toilet block, and construction of a new shed (Planning Permit already obtained).
• Demolition of existing structures (sheds, toilet block, wash bay) and construction of:
  • A new shed
  • An electric front gate
  • A new wash bay
    All works must comply with relevant legislation, standards, and permits.
• Staged demolition to maintain operational use of unaffected sheds during construction. Remaining structures to be removed once the new shed is functional.
• Development of Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings based on approved preliminary designs.
• Reinstatement of the hardstand area around the new shed to support vehicle access.
• Construction of the wash bay per approved designs (no building permit required), ensuring compliance with Lower Murray Water requirements, including PIC application and backflow valve permit.
• Installation of an electric gate on the northeastern boundary, matching the existing gate on the northwestern side.
• Construction of secondary roof structures over air conditioning units on the main office building (Planning Permit provided; Building Permit required).
• Completion of all necessary site inspections, including geotechnical assessments, service locations, and Dial Before You Dig checks.

The successful tenderer will act as a Principal Contractor and must provide an OHS Coordination Plan and enter into a DTF contract.

Procurement Model

This will be a construction only contract using the Victorian Public Sector Special Conditions of Contract in conjunction with AS4300 - General Conditions of Contract.
