Provision of Staff Training and Development Courses for Department of Health

This Request seeks to appoint one or more suitable service providers for the provision of Staff Training and Development Courses for WA Health employees.

The Department of Health’s Human Resource Services branch requires the design, development and delivery of a suite of staff training and development courses under two (2) over-arching categories of training:

• Category 1 - Working in Organisations

The focus of this category will be on skills which are directly transferable to the workplace; examples include facilitation and time management skills.

• Category 2 – Management

Training courses under this category will focus on two (2) aspects. Firstly, training for supervisors and managers on how to effectively manage the people within their teams, and secondly for staff requiring management skills in areas including human resources management and professional development.

Respondents may offer courses under one or both of the above categories and must indicate which categories are offered for in Part B Section 4(b) (vii). Respondents are not required to offer all of the courses listed in each of the categories.

It is intended that a Head Agreement will be established as a result of this Request and may be awarded in any of the following ways:

• a single contractor for both categories;
• a single contractor for one or more categories; or
• a panel of contractors for one or both categories.

The resultant Head Agreement will constitute a standing offer, whereby the Customer can place Orders on an ‘as required’ basis during the Term.
