Description
ACMA requires a new High Frequency Direction Finding (HFDF) system to be established to replace the existing HFDF system which is nearing the end of its serviceable life. It is expected that the new system will be installed by the end of 2014. The ACMA HFDF system objectives are civil in nature with the essential system requirement to locate sources of interference in the HF Band.
The supply and installation, test and commission of all necessary equipment to establish four HFDF sites (located near Perth in Western Australia, near Darwin in the Northern Territory, near Brisbane in Queensland and near Hobart in Tasmania), including suitable antenna arrays, control software and other associated equipment
