Description

The Motor Accidents Insurance Board (the MAIB) administers the compulsory third party personal injury motor accident compensation scheme for Tasmania. The MAIB invites proposals from suitably skilled and experienced service providers for the supply, hire, maintenance and storage of aids and equipment for people injured in motor accidents. Interested companies will be in a position to: Supply equipment (wheelchairs, hoists, electric beds and recliners etc) through direct purchase or brokerage for prescription items, Provide a hire service for items required on a short term basis, Maintain all equipment (purchased or hired), and Provide a prompt and efficient delivery service Statewide.
