FOOD PROCESSING FACTORY - SNUGGERY, S-E SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Registrations of Interest are invited from Contractors for the construction of a Food Processing Factory, which consists of the following elements:

• Site Works
• New 5300m² Factory Warehouse
• New 340m² attached Office, General Amenities and Maintenance Facilities
• Integration with Food Processing Equipment Fitout and Storage Sheds (by others)

The estimated construction value of the works is approximately $7.8 million and is scheduled to commence at the end of December 2002 , with a construction period to June 2003. Registrants are required to supply the following information:

• Past experience on a maximum of four (4) similar projects, with particular emphasis on performance against program and budget;
• Experience in managing similar projects at or within the vicinity of Snuggery in the South East of South Australia, including details of local Sub-Contractors utilised in the nominated projects;
• The involvement of proposed key personnel on similar projects, with a minimum of two (2) current referees;
• Proposed project team structure, together with CV for key personnel and referees;
• Details of current work commitment including scope of works, contract value and anticipated completion, with particular reference to proposed key personnel;
• Details of current OH&S and Quality Assurance procedures.

Tenderers may be selected from a short list drawn from those organisations which respond to this invitation to register interest. Registrations should be forwarded in writing, addressed to the “Project Manager, Contractor Registration, Food Warehouse” and lodged in the Contractors Tender Box, Level 12, 178 North Terrace, Adelaide by 2.00pm on the date shown above. No registration will necessarily be accepted.
