Description
The Coorong, Lower Lakes and Murray Mouth (CLLMM) Program was established in May 2009 and is part of the South Australian Government’s Murray Futures Program, funded by the Australian Government’s Water for the Future Initiative. The aim of the CLLMM Vegetation Program is to restore ecosystem resilience through habitat restoration activities including vegetation planting, fencing and pest control. Since 2009 the Vegetation Program has contracted propagation and planting of over 2.6 million native seedlings around the Coorong and Lower Lakes.
In 2012, The CLLMM Vegetation Program aims to engage commercial suppliers to propagate up to a total of 450,000 plants for the 2013 planting season.
