Description
It is expected that contracts covered by this prequalification scheme will be typically valued at less than $2 million.
Companies will be required to be prequalified with DTEI at the time of contract award where prequalification (in the category RW1: Rail Construction Works) has been specified.It is expected the first work package under this prequalification scheme will be called in mid April 2008.
Please note: Throughout 2008 and early 2009, DTEI anticipates calling some significantly larger contracts as part of the Rail Track Renewal and Railcar Depot Relocation Projects.This prequalification scheme will not apply to these contracts.
Companies are advised to submit applications for prequalification by Thursday, 3 April 2008. This will enable prequalification assessments to be completed prior to calling the first contract which is expected to be in mid April 2008.
