Kin Kora State School Ed4All Access Lift and Amenities

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the construction of a new lift, stairs and amenities at Kin Kora State School, located at 41-43 Hibiscus Ave, Gladstone Central QLD 4680, as part of the Education for All (Ed4All) program.

The building works includes the demolition of existing stairs to the oval, construction of a new lift core, lift and stairs from the oval to the upper levels of the school, combined with a suspended link and a new accessible amenities facility on the lower level. The position of the building site is constricted wiith limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by the end of March 2021

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

QBCC Licensing

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project.
