The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for Land and Fire Management – Narangba Industrial Estate
These maintenance activities take to form of maintaining fire Breaks, undertake control burns to reduce fire fuel loads, remove rubbish and removal and spraying of weeds.
The successful proponent will be required to:
- Maintain EDQ’s Operational Fire Management Plan
- Maintenance of Fire Trails
- Attend Fire Management Group Meetings
- Conduct Prescribed Burns
- Conduct Site Inspections on a quarterly basis to include:
- Fire trail condition and access capability
- Current or possible forecast risks (e.g. rubbish dumping/hazard trees
- Current bushfire risk, fuel loads and hazard assessments
- Access gates checked for vandalism and security
- Minor tree removal from main fire trails
- Minor rubbish pick up
- Gate and fence repairs minor
