Description
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) Plant and Equipment Services Branch receives large volumes of invoices for the maintenance of fleet and equipment. Considerable manual processing is required to process these invoices in a timely and accurate manner to comply with DFES and State Government Policy and Instructions. DFES is in the process of transitioning to a new financial system to commence in July 2026, this system will deliver considerable automation and benefits. Until the new system is in place an AI solution is needed to effectively manage the high level of maintenance invoicing received by the branch.
