Emerald North State School ? Resource Centre Refurbishment (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a resource centre refurbishment at Emerald North State School, located at Campbell St, Emerald QLD 4720, as part of School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The refurbishment includes demolition of existing fixtures and fittings, division of the internal space to create a robotics room, new joinery, teaching wall and new finishes throughout, as well as an outdoor learning area. The position of the building is at the side of the school with ample working space and easy site access. All works are to be completed by the end of June 2022

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 million

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
