Description

Taxi and Luxury Hire Car Industries Act 1995 In accordance with Section 19 of the above Act, the Transport Commission is required to make additional perpetual taxi licences available in each Tasmanian taxi area. The number of licences offered in each taxi area is equivalent to 5% of the existing number of perpetual taxi licences currently on issue in the relevant taxi area. The licences are offered for sale by tender.
