Description
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) has a requirement for the overhaul of the radiator assemblies which are part of the traction cooling system on the PTA’s Prospector regional passenger railcars. The Prospector railcar fleet consists of 9 railcars powered by two independent engine rafts.There are two traction cooling systems fitted to each railcar.Each cooling system contains a radiator assembly consisting of radiator cores, cooling fans, header tank, electrical equipment and associated pipework.
This specification details the requirements for the overhaul of nineteen (19) traction cooling systems.
