Uniformed Security Guard Services

The ART conducts independent merits review of administrative decisions made under Commonwealth laws. We review decisions made by Australian Government Ministers, Departments, and Agencies and, in limited circumstances, decisions made by state government and non-government bodies. The ART has Registries located in every Australian capital city and hearings are conducted in each location. The ART consists of approximately 1300 staff and members. Staff are employees of the Australian Public Service and members, who hear and decide cases, are statutory office holders.

The ART is seeking an Australian based organisation with the capacity to provide certified and professional Uniformed Security Guard Services in ART Registries located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra. A regular on-site uniformed security guard will be engaged in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, and Canberra on a full-time basis (8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday). Additional uniformed security guards may be needed from time to time (occasionally at short notice) at one of the locations listed above.

To be successful, the Service Provider will need to meet the functional, security and privacy requirements stipulated by the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), Australian Standard AS4421:2023 (Guard and Patrol Security Services) and the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
