Provision of a Western Australian Recreational Boating Mobile Application including Support and Maintenance

The Department of Transport’s (DoT) Marine Safety Education is seeking to provide a boating Application (App) for recreational boaters in Western Australia to support, enhance and deliver marine safety education information and programs. The App is vital to assisting and supporting the Waterways Safety Management Directorate in maintaining the DoTs statutory and service delivery obligations. This is to ensure the safe and sustainable use of Western Australian waterways. Failure to meet these obligations can have serious safety impacts on the boating public and the public image of DoT. Boating is stressful and dangerous without the right information and guidance. The App helps boaters make better decisions, so they can have better and safer boating experiences. DoT require an all-in-one boating App for maps, forecasts, reports, alerts and service.
